Rev. Prof. Thomas Nass has been teaching Biblical Hebrew at Martin Luther College, New Ulm, MN since 1995. Previously he had been a parish pastor for ten years in North Mankato, MN and Milwaukee, WI. He is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod’s Translation Evaluation Committee which was appointed to thoroughly study the NIV 2011 translation and evaluate other translations.

Charles Amjad-Ali is the Martin Luther King, Jr. Chair of Justice and Christian Community at Luther Seminary, where he teaches courses in Islamic studies, Ethics, and Religion and Politics. Before Luther Seminary, founded the Christian Study Center in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, in 1985, and worked there with his wife Christine. He has lectured at Princeton, Notre Dame, St. Thomas and Temple Universities as well as at Princeton, and Union Theological Seminaries, he has also served on the faculties in South Africa, Sweden, England, Germany, Australia, Japan, the Philippines, and his native Pakistan.

Dave Runyon is the co-author of the Art of Neighboring, Building Genuine Relationships just Outside your Door. Dave is the executive director of CityUnite, a non-profit organization that exists to help government, business, and faith-based leaders unite around common causes. He also works with the Denver Leadership Foundation in order to bring transformation to the city

J-Term Tuition Cost:
Tuition costs for J-Term are $10/each session or $75 for the entire J-Term. Retired pastors and their wives are
welcome to attend the lectures tuition-free.
