Purpose (to help small churches and solo pastors):

The purpose for developing this resource is to help pastors with a ministry tool that usually gets neglected for understandable reasons. We are especially keeping in mind small churches that are usually served by a solo pastor who may be serving more than one congregation. Pastors either do not have the knowledge or training in the area of media or they are too busy to spend the time developing a web presence. However, most pastors understand the importance of having a presence on the web. There are plenty of website development resources available to you, but how do you choose one and who can you trust? What we have found is that these services are either cheap but visually outdated or expensive and convenient but have poor customer service. We aim to be financially affordable, visually stunning, reliable and convenient.

Templates (2 designs, 3 colors each):

There are two different design templates and three color schemes for each template. The Church of the Lutheran Brethren (CLB) has paid for the development of these templates to keep the price as low as possible. Each template is customizable for a fee, and as you will see below, you can add various features and plug-ins to fit the needs of your ministry.

This service is built on an online content management system called Joomla!, which is open-source and allows for practically unlimited feature options as you develop your website. The other benefit is that it also makes future changes and updating much easier than the traditional way of developing a website.

Price Packages:

The design, set-up and hosting will all be handled through Rogness Web Development (RWD). Once you decide on a price package, you will begin working directly with RWD.

Starter Package: $399/one time fee
The “Starter Package” is the most basic package with most of the website already prepackaged to keep the cost as low as possible.

Standard Package: $799/one time fee
The “Standard Package” includes the ability to customize the original template designs along with extra features like a calendar and PDF attachment.

Custom Package: Starting at $1,300/one time fee
The “Custom Package” gives you the option to use one of the available templates or customize the design from the ground up. You have complete control and unlimited potential.

Each package includes the option for many other plug-ins and features as fit your ministry needs. The listed price will be adjusted depending on the cost of the feature and the amount of labor.
